EcoSisters Africa is a community-based initiative in Lira City, Uganda, supporting women, girls, and families through climate action, safe water access, health education, and community empowerment.
We believe that when women are informed, supported, and given opportunities, they become powerful leaders of change in their homes and communities.
What We Do
What We Do
We work with women and youth to promote:
Climate resilience and environmental protection
Safe water management and rainwater harvesting
Kitchen gardens for healthy food
Tree planting and community greening
Reproductive health education, including STDs prevention and contraception
Women’s leadership, dignity, and economic empowerment
Our Vision
We dream of a greener, healthier, and more resilient Lira City, where women are leading positive change in their homes and communities.
